Dr. Amy Henderson Riley, DrPH, a 2017 graduate of Drexel University’s School of Public Health, has built a career rooted in global health equity, communication, and advocacy. Now, she’s taken her impact even further by stepping into elected office. Amy recently won a non-partisan race in Collingswood, New Jersey, and now serves as Deputy Mayor for a four-year term.

If you’ve ever thought, “Could I really run for office?”—this session is for you.

Join us for a live, candid conversation with Dr. Riley about what it really takes to run (and win), how public health skills translate into political leadership, and why we urgently need more public health professionals at every level of government.

Session objectives:

  • Learn what it’s like to run for local office
  • Identify the leadership skills you already have
  • Understand why public health belongs in policymaking, now more than ever

We look forward to building a better future with you!
