The National Association for Doctors of Public Health (NADrPH) is relaunching — by popular demand — WriteWell, our structured writing and accountability program for DrPH students, alumni, and practitioners.

Originally launched in Fall 2023, WriteWell ran for six months and engaged more than 70 DrPH scholars and professionals from across the United States and around the world, supporting progress on dissertation chapters, proposals, manuscripts, and professional writing projects, with several participants advancing to proposal defense and completing key doctoral milestones.

Participants consistently praised the facilitators and supportive environment, sharing that the sessions “allowed me to focus and make progress,” that “writing together really helped,” and describing the gratitude and goal-setting components as “helpful and centering.”

WriteWell helps you build sustainable writing habits, gain real momentum on academic or professional projects, and feel less alone in the writing process.

This spring, we will host six 90-minute sessions over 12 weeks (every other Thursday), combining protected writing time with structured peer support.

Each session includes:

  • 45 minutes of focused writing

  • 45 minutes of mini-lessons, peer feedback, and accountability

Sessions will be guided by writing experts Natalie Joseph and Elham Ali.
